This subreddit is not administered by or affiliated with Paizo Publishing®, LLC in any way. Although the published books already contain thousands of pages of content, making your own is an excellent way to enhance the joy of roleplaying. This subreddit is for the creation, critique, and display of Pathfinder Roleplaying Game homebrew classes, spells, items, and much more. Round 1 would be four Full-Attacks against the blinded, flat-footed PC followed by either another Dimension Door to GTFO or a scroll of Wall of Stone to encapsulate the dying Vampire's mist form.Welcome, traveler. Surprise round would be a Dimension Door in, followed by Dimensional Anchor, Prayer, Fog Cloud (they've got unique fog-piercing goggles), and a Tanglefoot Bag. They will deploy the relevant firepower to OHKO a Glabrezu or class-level Succubus, so I'd say a 5-man band of level 12ish Inquisitors pre-buffed with Haste, Divine Power, Heroism, Protection from Evil/Chaos, Shield of Faith, and See Invisibility would be a good start - probably with some extra trump cards in their pocket, like a Necklace of Fireballs and Ring of Retribution. Lawful Good does not mean Lawful Nice, and Inquisitors are under no obligation to confirm the innocence of their targets first - if they suspect that you are a demon in disguise using Nondetection to avoid their basic divinations, they will adopt the same Pharasman "kill first, pray for forgiveness later" policy. When they come, they are going to play for keeps.įor "monstrous shadow", apply all of the above to Iomedaean demon-hunting Inquisitors. Vampires are high-tier motherfuckers which are more than capable of magical trickery of that nature, and too many Pharasman hit squads have accidentally kicked in the door of a tavern and been surprised by an entire town full of Dominated thralls. They are going to kill first, and ask questions of the corpses later. ![]() ![]() The Pharasmans will not stop and ask why their Undead-Bane arrows aren't super effective. Your PC signed a waiver for this when they took that drawback. If you play this drawback straight, the PC must spend some form of daily resource to mask this curse or else you get to insert random bonus encounters where fully-buffed Pharasman Inquisitor hit squads show up and instantly, mercilessly, and absolutely obliterate the PC before making a tactical teleport withdrawal at the end of Round 1. With that said, if the GM takes it seriously it can be one of the most terrifying ones in the book, because "no shadow" is a trait unique to vampires, and it is one which almost every non-bumpkin person in Golarion is aware of. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting./r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker - To discuss the Owlcat-made computer RPGs./r/Pathfinder2e - For dedicated Second Edition discussion./r/Pathfinder - For Pathfinder Society Organization/Discussion.Other subreddits you might be interested in: Fillable character sheets and intelligent character builders. Some of these tools and resources include the following: We have a Wiki page that includes links for various useful tools and resources, most of which have been provided by the members of this community.
